Broken sx-70 :(

Yes, it is broken. I work on SX-70's and have seen this problem before. Without going into details, it is repairable, but you would need to get a new shutter and substrate assembly from a working camera - at that point it would be better to simply purchase a working camera in the first place.

Is the professional photographer on his last legs?
These days it seems like everyone is a photographer.. I guess it is because of the price drop in the high quality Digital SLR’s, it is possible for anyone to get a professional looking photograph, but does that mean that they are a professional photographer? So with this influx of people taking good pictures, is there less of a market for people trying to make a living out of taking...
